Now reports are that Belorussian forces are getting in on the action from the north. But that’s to be expected, as Lukashenko is a Russian stooge.

Russia’s UN Envoy claims that Russia is operating under the auspices of Article 51 of the UN Charter. In other words, and as my wife put it when I read the article to her: Self defense.

Unconfirmed reports are that Russian forces have entered Kharkiv, among other oblasts. It took less than two hours. Other unconfirmed reports are that they have control of the airport in Kyiv. Ukraine’s Interior Ministry has said that Kyiv has been hit by cruise missiles, according to CNN.

Local reports suggest that shelling is being reported as coming from the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone near Belarus. Others suggest a Russian amphibious assault taking place near Odessa.
