1.) I’m thinking about this notion of providing “guns and bullets” to Ukraine. UA officials earlier today said that they have enough people, they just need more equipment. The question is two fold: One, do we have what they need on hand, and how fast can we get it there; and two, how are we delivering it? I’d assume that it would have to enter Ukraine through Lviv. If we can get it there in time, will it be delivered via ground or via air? Is air possible? Would the Russians just let NATO aircraft deliver the instruments specifically designed to destroy Russian tanks and aircraft? Sure, we got a lot of goodies into Afghanistan during the 1980s. It isn’t the 1980s anymore. Are we thinking about this? (We must be…) Are we thinking of how we might equip an insurgent force in UA? (We must be…right?)
2.) Have you ever wondered what the first cyberwar between two major powers would look like? Well, we might find out soon.
